On your fly or spin fishing trip and wildlife viewing or fishing float trip in Interior Alaska, Fairbanks you will experience:

#1- No Crowds

Thousands come to Alaska each year to enjoy this great wilderness and its sportfishing. The term “combat fishing” elbow-to-elbow was coined from people’s experiences on a few easy access Alaskan rivers. Alaska is a huge state with immense wilderness and world-class sportfishing found throughout. We invite you to step off the beaten path and experience Alaska’s wilderness without crowds!  On most of our trips, you will see very few, if any, other people!

#2- Affordability

Our trips offer road accessibility, thus eliminating the cost of expensive bush plane or charter flights. But don’t worry! This doesn’t mean crowds! It means affordability and intimate wilderness experiences without having to pay more than you should. These trips include state park areas and rivers, which have been praised for their scenic and/or exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities (including first class sportfishing opportunities).

#3- Local Guides

We are unlike any other guiding operations. Firstly we operate guided day fishing trips year round and secondly our tours are not managed by seasonal employees. Alaska Fishing & Raft Adventures employs experienced guides who reside in Alaska and guide for us year-round (summer and winter). This philosophy provides our guests with the most knowledgeable and experienced guides of Interior Alaska. In addition, by employing only those with the outstanding people skills, we assure that you will always have an exciting and memorable time.

#4- The Best Equipment

Our guests are provided with fishing gear that has withstood the test and proven itself in the field! Our boats are equiped with custom fishing frame setups and are expedition grade inflatable river rafts. Our boats are spacious, safe and designed to perform in the rigors of commercial guiding in Alaska!

#5 – Quality camping in the Wilderness

A camping trip in the Alaskan wilderness can be under sometimes unexpected and though weather conditions. Quality brand and large size tents are provided for our one night camping trips. Spacious two-, four- or six person tents are used to host 1-4 people in each. Our camp systems are field tested and developed over many years. You will be sleeping on thick, thermal inflatable pads to ensure you are warm and comfortable.

#6 - Quality Cuisine

On our overnight trip we prefer to provide freshly cooked quality meals that may include fish, steaks, pasta, stews, salads, sandwiches, and hearty warm and cold breakfasts among other delicous food items.
